Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Shifts available: 1st, 2nd and 3rd
Job Description
Maintenance technicians are responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing, replacing, and fixing mechanical and electrical issues within the facility for plant machinery, with the majority of the machinery being CNC machines and robots. This includes working with sensors, conveyors, pneumatics, hydraulics, motors, robots, bearings, pumps, PLCs, and assembly lines. Technicians will also use drawings, schematics, and blueprints to diagnose machinery faults, perform electrical troubleshooting (most commonly 3-phase and 208V, but up to 480V), complete preventive maintenance tasks, and carry out welding and fabrication as needed.
Responsibilities
Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and replace mechanical and electrical issues on plant machinery.
Work on CNC machines, robots, sensors, conveyors, pneumatics, hydraulics, motors, bearings, pumps, PLCs, and assembly lines.
Perform PLC troubleshooting with Siemens and Omron systems.
Use drawings, schematics, and blueprints to diagnose machinery faults.
Conduct electrical troubleshooting, primarily 3-phase and 208V, up to 480V.
Complete preventive maintenance tasks.
Perform welding and fabrication as necessary.
Essential Skills
At least 3 years of industrial maintenance experience.
Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills (preference for electrical troubleshooting).
Ability to troubleshoot mechanical components such as pumps, motors, and valves.
Basic electrical troubleshooting up to 480V 3-phase.
Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
PLC troubleshooting experience (ability to plug in a laptop and diagnose issues).
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with CNC repair.
Knowledge of robotics.
Proficiency in welding.
Familiarity with VFDs and sensors.

Work Environment
Work in a high-automation factory with secondary equipment, assembly lines, robotics, and CNC machinery. The non-union setting fosters a fast-paced environment. Shifts available include 2nd shift (2pm-10pm) and 3rd shift (10pm-6am). Employees should expect shift change instructions before and after their shift times. Working hours generally range from 40-50 hours per week, with an average of 40-45 hours. Overtime on weekends is rotated among the group, with volunteers being preferred. The company maintains a Japanese-based, structured work environment.
