Job Description Summary
General Electric Power Conversion develops complete technical solutions for energy conversion and installs systems including electric motors, converters, transformers, and harmonic filters for its international customers.
You will be attached to the engineering department, and you will participate and assist the engineering Director in managing the engineering operations.
You will maintain and develop existing tools and provide support for process improvement initiatives.
Job Description
Essential Responsibilities :
Support teams from an operational point of view on engineering tools, ensuring compliance with processes, procedures, and structure.
Understand operational issues and participate in the management of change actions, develop tools accordingly.
Collect Commercial opportunity data and build the Engineering SOP (Sales and Operation) to anticipate the Engineering requested Capacity and skillset.
Participate in engineering project monitoring meetings, support, and advise function managers in the structuring of projects and their implementation in the tools.
Develop functions related to the main tools meeting user needs.
Participate in coordination meetings with managers and teams.
Coordination of tools with partner units, mainly India engineering.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in related field required
Minimum 5 years operation, Or Lean management
Desired Characteristics :
Industrial engineer with very good knowledge of tools
Excel / VBA / database and SQL, AI is appreciated.
Experience in change management and process improvement
A first experience in engineering is an added value, training for the position and operational support will be provided.
Excellent oral and written communication.
Ability to listen, analytical and synthesis skills.
Coordination of tools with partner units, mainly India engineering.
