Come be part of this optimistic, innovative team where outstanding customer service creates dynamic solutions and engages leadership at every level.\ \ Make a difference in the lives of seniors in your community as part of a team that prepares food for delivery to Meals on Wheels recipients in Flagstaff.\ \ Under supervision performs social or health service work of routine difficulty in providing in-home services, transportation services, meal preparation, or delivering \"meals on wheels\" to eligible clients.\ \ This position\'s primary duties will include Meals on Wheels food preparation and being a back-up driver when needed.\ \ Please note:This is a 20 hour per week limited appointment position that is contingent upon grant funding through the American Rescue Plan Act and is anticipated to end no later than December 31, 2024
Typical Duties

- Ensures compliance with food handling policies and procedures
- Kitchen cleanup tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dishwashing, trash removal, and other tasks involved in maintaining a clean kitchen
- Assists kitchen staff with preparation and packing of food for Meals on Wheels delivery in Flagstaff
Essential functions of this position include but are not limited to: driving; sitting to drive van; working with and around others; communicating with team members, clients, etc.; vision acuity (near and far) for driving; hearing and speech for ordinary conversation. Environmental factors include; driving in all types of weather; exposure to weather while delivering meals to client\'s homes; outside driving route 90% of time.
