Goodwill Industries of Mid-Michigan is looking for a motivated, team-building individual to fill a Full Time District Manager position for our Mid-Michigan Territory covering Bad Axe, Caro, Imlay City, Lapeer, and Oxford.
Objective: Executes retail operations plan to achieve required targeted growth in daily, monthly, quarterly, and yearly goals for profit, revenue, and production for multiple Retail Store locations. Motivate, direct, coach and lead management teams to achieve key business metrics and expected goals.
Full Time Position with MONTHLY Bonus Potential!

Essential duties and responsibilities:
Works in selected stores with retail teams and customers to understand and identify business critical issues in order to ensure the alignment of tactics and strategies.
Coordinates with Store Managers to define objectives and goals by constantly developing innovative and cost effective product generation; monitors product levels daily to achieve bottom line sales budget against targets.
Works with the Director of Retail to generate ideas about future retail activities to ensure a cutting-edge strategy; maintains up-to-date knowledge of the market place, competitors and trends.
Ensures store locations deliver excellent customer service to donors and customers.
Ensures store locations are clean, well maintained, and reflect the Goodwill brand appropriately.
Partners with community businesses and organizations to promote Goodwill’s mission.
Ensures that store leadership is trained to fulfill their duties and responsibilities.

Think you've got what it takes?
High school diploma or GED required.
Minimum five years of experience in retail/operational management with multi-site experience.
Valid drivers' license and willingness to travel.
Ability to set, manage, and meet deadlines.
Successful track record in increasing sales, production, driving profits and exceeding goals.
Proven leadership skills with the ability to mentor, coach, and lead by example.
Proven ability to network, recruit, develop, and promote exceptional employees.
Strong organizational and communication skills -- both verbal and written.
Must anticipate opportunities and challenges, evaluate data and make good judgements, adapt to unexpected changes, improve efficiencies resulting in improved delivery of service and meet expectations while conforming to the highest values, ethics, and accountability standards.
