SUMMARY
Responsible for multiple culinary workstations, ensuring the efficiency of the line and kitchen operation on a scheduled shift in accordance with specifications and standards.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepares, seasons, finishes, and garnishes all food in kitchen preparation in accordance with established recipes.
- Maintains all refrigeration and dry storage areas to ensure proper handling and rotation of products.
- Ensures that stations are clean and that all food items are properly covered and stored at the end of shift.
- Follows all recipes, specs, and control procedures.
- Always maintains a clean and sanitary area in full accordance with health regulations.
- Assists with guest requests.
- Runs a station or multiple stations.
- All other duties as assigned.
REPORTING LINE
You will report directly to the Sous Chefand then the ExecutiveSous Chef.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
- Must have excellent communication skills, be polite, and present a neat appearance at all times.
- The ability to work with others as a team in an efficient manner.
- The ability to apply common sense reasoning to variety of situations

EDUCATIONAL AND/OR EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or equivalent. A minimum of one to two years of experience preferred. ServSafe certification or ability to become certified required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the property for prolonged periods of time. Ability to push, pull, bend, reach, squat, kneel, crawl, twist, sit, climb, balance, carry and lift to 25 lbs occasionally required to lift 50 lbs. Ability to use hands handle, or feel objects, reach with hands and arms or hear. Employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, and to sit, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or bend.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. Constant use of hearing, speech, vision (including distinguishing between shades of color), radios, and tools or equipment requiring a high degree of dexterity.

The employee regularly works around mechanical moving parts.
The employees work environment may, at times, be very warm or very cold. The work environment includes moderate exposure to slippery work surfaces and greasy areas.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
