Jabil is seeking an experienced Test Engineering Technician in Florence, Kentucky. The Test Engineering Technician will be self-directed, he/she will be responsible for developing and maintaining test procedures, test hardware, and software for electronic circuit production. The schedule for the Test Engineer Technician is Thursday/Friday through Sunday 6:00 am-6:00 pm.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist Test Engineers when commissioning new test equipment.
Provide technical assistance to other technicians on the same shift.
Provide line support to manufacturing for all test processes.
Ensure machine down calls are responded to in a timely manner.
Liaise with manufacturing to determine repair priorities.
Ensure adequate spares are available for all allocated equipment.
Ensure Preventative Maintenance is carried out at specified intervals on all allocated equipment.
Liaise with manufacturing to ensure Preventative Maintenance does not impact the production schedule.
Escalate to Test Engineers any unresolved/ongoing issues.
Instruct operators on the safe/effective use of test equipment.
Provide daily reports of all line issues.
Provide weekly/quarterly downtime reports for allocated equipment.
May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma required.
A minimum of 2 years of networking or similar related work experience.
Experience doing network installations, cable replacements, and use of tooling.
Some leadership experience is strongly preferred.
Working knowledge of IT and Computer Software is preferred.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Strong communication skills both verbal and written.

Able to test Computing racks and have gral knowledge over networking topology and hardware.
