Job Title: MIG Welder
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled MIG Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in setting up and operating MIG welding tools, particularly with 16 gauge sheet metal. This role requires flexibility to perform grinding tasks as needed.
Responsibilities
Set up and operate MIG welding tools
Perform MIG welding on 16 gauge sheet metal
Execute grinding tasks as necessary
Read and understand specification sheets and work orders
Layout and load materials using basic math and hand-held measuring tools
Operate and maintain hand-held welding tools
Essential Skills
3+ years manufacturing experience in a high-volume, fast-paced production environment
Knowledge of MIG welding techniques
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work orders
Experience with metalworking or hollow metal fabrication
Dexterity with manufacturing equipment, basic power tools, and machinery
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Proficiency in the operation and maintenance of hand-held welding tools
Capability to layout and load materials using hand-held measuring tools
Experience with grinding, sanding, and deburring processes
