East Central Community College Network Systems Technical Specialist in Forest, Mississippi
*General Description: *
The Network Systems Technical Specialist will serve as front-line support between the Office of Information Technology and the users of the College's information technology equipment and software for the main campus and other locations in the fivecounty district. The Network Systems Technical Specialist will work with the Director of Network Systems in the maintenance and support of the College's Local and Wide Area networks, information technology equipment and software. The Network Systems Technical Specialist reports directly to the Director of Network Systems.
*Required Qualifications: *
Must have a minimum of an AA Degree in an Information Technology field from an accredited institution or two (2) years of related work experience in the area of network and desktop support.
*Preferred Qualifications: *
- Five (5) Years of Desktop and Network Support related work experience with an emphasis on support and maintenance of network, personal computer, hardware, software, instructional technology hardware/software; and
- Current I.T. Industry related certifications and relevant I.T. training will be considered a plus.
