JOB REQUIREMENTS: Project Accountant Accounting and Finance Fort Atkinson, WI * ID: 1110 * Full-Time/Regular Under the direction of the Controller, performs accounting functions for subsidiaries of Spacesaver Corporation, including joint project billing/support, large project revenue/expense tracking, and month-end reporting. We are seeking an individual who enjoys working with multiple areas of the business and has a background in Accounting! Day in the life: *Prepare monthly standard journal entries, miscellaneous journal entries, and account reconciliations. *Participate in month-end close, utilizing the closing checklist to document and verify all steps are completed by the deadlines. *Research and resolve project discrepancies. Work with appropriate Spacesaver employee or Area Contractor (AC) to obtain needed information to execute, bill, and close projects. *Act as Project Manager (PM) or assist assigned manager with large GSA/ADS/phantom billing projects that are being run directly with the AC. Work with the Sales Team directly on project documentation/quote questions and the Contracts Team regarding specific reporting requirements. Communicate requirements to ACs when needed and assist ACs with project changes/questions. Spacesaver is an Equal Opportunity Employer Required Skills What we are looking for: *2-year Accounting Degree with 3-5 years of experience, or equivalent experience in finance and accounting. *Experience in Construction or Project Accounting preferred *Proficiency with Microsoft Office including strong Excel spreadsheet skills. *Strong organizational, problem solving, analysis, and communication skills. *Ability to meet deadlines and organize the efforts of a team to meet shared deadlines. *Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional standards.
