Amentum Configuration Manager in Fort Belvoir, Virginia

Amentum is seeking a Configuration Manager to support an upcoming INSCOM G-4 Global Intelligence Logistics and Engineering (GILE) Support contract. These services will support tactical, operational, and strategic intelligence units, personnel and their ground and aerial intelligence equipment and operations facilities and infrastructure and may occur from multiple locations simultaneously.

Essential Duties:

Responsible for the creation and management of all configuration projects and planning. Provides guidance and advice on methods, procedures, and requirements.

  • Responsible for configuration change control.

  • Regulates the change process so that only approved and validated changes are incorporated into product documents.

  • Ensures configuration identification by reviewing design release documents for completeness, proper authorization, and system updates. Authorizes the release of drawings and software configuration changes specified by management and other functional groups.

  • Responsible for configuration status accounting. Tracks all problems and changes in product documents and reports changes and current configuration.

  • Responsible for configuration audits.

  • Supports audits to verify that requirements of all baselines have been met. Supports quality assurance process audits and manage staff of configuration specialists for a new software development application.

  • Provides leadership for less experienced CM specialists.

Minimum Requirements:

Must have an active Final Top-Secret Clearance based upon a TIER 5 Background Investigation and favorable eligibility determination for access to Sensitive Compartmented Information

  • Note: US Citizenship is required to maintain a TS clearance.

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent with 7-6 years of related experience; or military or military equivalent training and 10-12 years direct experience.
