What You’ll Get to Do:

As a CACI-SOAS Logistics Coordinator you assist Program Management in day-to-day coordination and management of logistics activities supporting the SOF Emergent Threats, Operations, and Planning Support (SOFETOPS) program at USASOC. You will initiate new supply-chain requirement processes, organize & implement program methodologies, and ensure inputs are coordinated from functional and technical personnel. The Logistics Coordinator reports directly to the Program Management Office (PMO).

More About the Role:

As a Logistics Coordinator, you’ll be responsible for establishing, maintaining, and managing the TO Government Property Management System within the scope of the Government-approved, CACI Government Property Management System and coordinate effective, decentralized, but consistent, support of the system by a network of task-level property custodians.

You’ll continue to develop the TO Government Property Management System as tasks come and go throughout the life of the contract to ensure 100% accountability of all Government property provided to the TO is maintained. You’ll also ensure that all Government-issued individual clothing and equipment issued to deploying TO members is returned to Government sources of supply upon redeployment.

Additional responsibilities will include coordination and preparation of all Government property report deliverables as well as responsibility for 100% property closeout of all Government property provided to TO upon either project or TO expiration.

You’ll be responsible for receiving/acquiring, managing/tracking, transferring/shipping, and servicing/maintaining SOFETOPS property as needed to meet mission needs. You’ll coordinate Government shipments (both by MILAIR and by commercial vendor under Government contract) with USASOC and SOFETOPS partners as well as coordinate TO commercial shipments with vendors such as FedEx and DHL.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a logistics practitioner at the operational and tactical level tomeet SOF-unique requirements and unit readiness for CONUS and OCONUS missions.

  • Active Secret Security Clearance. TS/SCI Eligible

  • 8 years of demonstrated experience with the Federal Supply System.

  • Previous assignments at USASOC or Joint SOF command as Senior Logistics Planner for supply chain management, including acquisition, budgeting, storage, material management, redistribution, and integrated property accounting systems.

  • Expertise with DA automated supply accounting systems with knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations.

  • Skilled with procedures for logistics systems management, including development, interception, and recognition of functional requirements and managed Government-furnished equipment and property.

These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have:

  • PMP, CAPM, APICS, ISM, or IAM certification

  • Bachelor’s degree; preferably in a Logistics or Supply Management related field.

  • Experience with software applications to include word processing and ability to modify/tailor existing databases to generate, manipulate, and analyze logistics data.

  • Possess a minimum of 10 years’ experience developing, acquiring, fielding, sustaining, and safely disposing of materiel by leveraging domestic, organic, commercial, and foreign technologies to meet USASOC’s current and future mission requirements.

  • Possess a minimum of five (5) years’ experience locating, acquiring, and transporting standard and non-standard equipment and supplies through military and non-military supply sources to meet unit readiness and operational requirements.

  • Have of the following certifications from the National Property Management Association: Certified Professional Property Specialist (CPPS), Certified Professional Property Administrator (CPPA), or Certified Professional Property Manager (CPPM)

  • Must have DoD Secret clearance.

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$50,400 - $105,800
