Position title: Product Manager Reports to: VP of Marketing Department: Marketing Location: Fort Collins, CO Travel: Approximately 35%

General Description In-Situ Inc. is a leading manufacturer of innovative environmental and process monitoring equipment. In-Situ has a full offering of multiparameter water quality sondes, water level and flow instruments along with automatic chemical analysis systems for water and wastewater monitoring and control. As a member of In-Situ's Marketing team, our Product Managers assure we have the right products to achieve annual sales goals as well as the right roadmaps to fulfill our long-term strategic plans.

Position Summary In-Situ is accepting applications for the full-time position of Product Manager.As the Product Manager, your business acumen, market insights, and cross-functional leadership skills will enable us to increase our share in core market segments and introduce our technology into new and adjacent markets. But most importantly, your relationships with customers and understanding of their needs will drive the direction of our portfolio. Specific financial KPIs, such as revenue and unit volume goals, contribution margin and controllable margin will be the measure of your success

Responsibilities of the Role Encompass Tactical Planning and Cross-Functional Leadership:

Align the product portfolio and build product roadmaps that target key market segments you have identified as holding our best opportunities for growth.

Identify new channel and selling partner opportunities for existing products.

Perform Voice-of-the-Customer Studies that distill customer needs, pain points, and buying behaviors into product requirements.

Identify the priorities for the annual Marketing Plan, so that the marketing and communications team is enabled to drive opportunities, leads and demand in the right segments, for the right products.

Drive opportunity win rates by enabling the sales team and selling partners with training, tools, and marketing collateral.

Set competitive pricing based on market dynamics and value propositions.

Plan and execute successful product launches, including go-to-market strategies.

Portfolio management that includes full product lifecycle planning.

Collaboration across the organization: R&D, marketing, sales, operations, and customer support teams. Solicit input and align efforts toward common goals.

Top-Down Alignment: Ensure your tactical plan aligns with company-wide objectives and strategic direction.

Serve as the commercial lead on new product development teams, sharing responsibility for on-time, on-budget products that meet feature, performance, cost, and timing requirements.

Develop/optimize internal/external networks to identify sources of innovation and potential partnerships required to successfully deliver highly differentiated products.

Evolve as the external domain expert and thought leader within targeted market segments, opinion-leading customer accounts, industry associations and relevant regulatory bodies.

As the key person understanding customer demand, along with sales help to inform SIOP with manufacturing.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in biology, engineering, chemistry, or other technical discipline.

Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.

Proven ability to perform product management functions leading cross-functional teams to successful, differentiated commercial products delivering results as measured by revenue and profit growth.

Proven track record of achieving financial targets.

Strong industry domain expertise in Environmental and/or Process Instrumentation.

Experience working with diverse, global teams.

Passion for innovation and customer-centric thinking.

Working Environment/Physical Activities:

General office environment with each day spent at a desk or meeting with cross-functional tea s. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, stand, bend, reach, and walk. On-site, in-person.
