The Colorado State University Libraries is the heart of learning and research on campus, connecting curious minds to vital information and knowledge. The library system includes a primary library, Morgan Library, and a branch library in CSU’s Veterinary Teaching Hospital. Position Summary

The Project Manager will oversee the coordination and implementation of the digital visualizations project. This role includes managing communication among stakeholders, ensuring the project remains on schedule, and that all deliverables meet the required standards. The Project Manager will also facilitate support for project partners, organize workshops, and potentially contribute technical skills for the development and testing of the educational interactives. This is a temporary, 3-year position funded by a federal grant.

Required Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an institution of higher education OR Associate degree and at least two years’ full-time professional experience in research support, project management, or a similar field. Degree substitution will be considered, as High School Diploma (or GED ) plus four years’ full-time professional experience in research support, project management or a similar field

  • Related professional experience in research support, project management or similar fields

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Experience coordinating events

  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly with Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat

Preferred Job Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Engineering terminology and fundamentals

  • Experience with textbooks or developing academic materials

  • Experience creating online interactives or website creation

  • Experience with graphic design, user experience design (UX) and/or user interface design (UI)

  • Experience with scheduling software such as Access or Primavera

  • Familiarity with the scientific research process

  • Demonstrated experience in providing excellent customer service, working in a team environment, collaborative approach to work, and building effective professional relationships

  • Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion evidenced by personal work or educational experience

  • Formal project management training, experience or certification
