Description We are in search of a Staff Accountant for our operations in FORT COLLINS, Colorado, 80524-8565, United States. As a Staff Accountant, you will be entrusted with responsibilities such as managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), conducting bank reconciliations, and maintaining the general ledger. This position offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the Accounts Payable (AP) function and ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately

• Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) and ensure timely collection of payments

• Conduct regular bank reconciliations to ensure financial integrity

• Maintain the general ledger and ensure accurate financial record keeping

• Prepare journal entries as part of the financial reporting process

• Assist with the Month End Close process to ensure timely financial reporting

• Utilize the Made2Manage system for efficient financial management and reporting. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Staff Accountant role or similar position

• Proficient in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) management

• Experienced in performing bank reconciliations

• Solid understanding of General Ledger maintenance

• Ability to record and maintain accurate journal entries

• Experience in managing month-end close processes

• Proficiency in using Made2Manage software

• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field is preferred.
