Insight Global Secret Technical Project Manager in Fort George G Meade, Maryland

Job Description

In coordination with the Project Manager, responsible for the successful completion of engineering projects within the budgetary and scheduling guidelines

Establish project requirements and technical direction, guiding the engineering teams technical work

Execute DevSecOps practices, procedures, and problems to automate and improve existing system delivery

Make architecture and design decisions, working closely with the Chief Architect to ensure alignment with the portfolios overall vision and roadmap

Guide team members in troubleshooting technical issues, and analyzing existing operations to identify risks and redundancies

Quickly identify, analyze, and resolve technical blockers to allow the project team to continue progressing toward their defined milestones

Collaborate with customer, stakeholders, and cross functional team members to bring solution options and drive decisions on the way ahead to meet stakeholder needs and customer requirements

Compensation:

$70/hr to $75/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

Skills and Requirements

Secret Clearance

 Bachelors degree and 12-15 years of prior relevant experience, or Masters degree and 10-13 years of prior relevant experience

 Ability to earn IAT Level II (or higher) certification such as Security Expertise managing team of engineers, including mentoring and fostering communication and collaboration across the team

 Expertise applying advanced technical principles, theories, and concepts

 Expertise designing, deploying, and operating solutions built on Azure, AWS, or GCP

 Expertise designing, deploying, and operating software defined networking solutions

 Expertise engineering, implementing, mitigating, monitoring, and tuning virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) environments and management software

 Familiarity with the Atlassian suite, including Jira and Confluence null
