ASRC Federal Holding Company Intelligence Support Research Analyst - Doctrine Writer - Division Intelligence in Fort Huachuca, Arizona
ASRC Federal Professional Services is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Intelligence Subject Matter Expert (SME) with exceptional writing abilities to support our Doctrine Development contract at the U.S. Army Intelligence Center of Excellence (USAICoE) located at Fort Huachuca, AZ. In this role, the ideal candidate will contribute significantly to the development and refinement of Army Intelligence doctrine, with a focus on division-level intelligence operations as detailed in Army Publication 2-19.6. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing, writing, editing, and validating critical doctrinal publications that directly impact the execution of intelligence at the division level. This position requires conducting thorough doctrinal assessments, performing in-depth research, and collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure that Army Intelligence doctrine is accurate, relevant, and responsive to the evolving needs of the intelligence community. Their efforts will ensure that Army Intelligence doctrine remains accurate, relevant, and aligned with the continuous evolution of intelligence operations.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Review and update existing Army Intelligence doctrinal publications ensuring they align with current and emerging operational needs and standards.
Develop and write doctrinal content for Army Publication 2-19.6, Division Intelligence, incorporating feedback from intelligence professionals and stakeholders.
Conduct in-depth research on intelligence.
Collaborate with other intelligence analysts, doctrine writers, and military personnel to ensure consistency and coherence in doctrinal publications.
Validate and refine doctrinal content by engaging with operational units, training centers, and participating in relevant meetings and working groups.
Provide expert insights and feedback on both proponent and non-proponent documents, contributing to the continuous improvement of Army Intelligence doctrine.
Requirements :
Required Experience
- 10 plus years of military intelligence experience at multiple echelons and with multiple assignments
Desired Experience/Education
Operational experience working in one or more of the following Army intelligence organizations: Military Intelligence Company (MICO), Division G2 Staff, and/or Army Intelligence Analysis and Control Element (ACE).
Experience working within an Army Intelligence Analysis and Control Element (ACE) is highly desirable.
Experience working in Brigade Combat Teams (BCT) is desired.
Bachelor’s degree is preferred, ideally in intelligence, security, or a related discipline.
Skills
Strong understanding of intelligence systems, operations, and training.
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Proven capability to conduct thorough research and apply findings to doctrinal projects.
Expertise in writing and developing technical documents, including military white papers, research papers, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Military Intelligence Professional Bulletin (MIPB) articles, and capability documents using standard American English grammar.
Willingness and ability to travel for meetings, working groups, and visits to units and training centers as required.
Self-motivated and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously to meet deadlines.
Proficiency in using the Army 365 Teams collaborative platform.
Clearance Requirements
Employee shall possess a TOP SECRET (TS) clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI).
