Army Installation Management Command Materials Handler (Recycling) NA-04 in Fort Hunter Liggett, California

Summary This position is located at the Fort Hunter Liggett Qualified Recycling Program (QRP). Responsibilities Receives, identifies, sorts and feeds the various recycle processing equipment with a variety of recycle materials. Moves appropriate recyclable material to the bailer machine, ensuring the material is correct for the process. Identifies and separates recyclable material during the sorting process, in accordance with instructions, standard operating procedures, and policies for the recycle operation. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Qualifications must be clearly verifiable in your resume. Applicant must have experience in recycling activities which includes receiving, storing, shipping and inventorying of varied types of equipment, supplies, and parts. FWS Allowances and Differentials This is a federal wage schedule (FWS) position. All FWS employees are entitled to overtime work for work in excess of 8 hours in a day or in excess of 40 hours in the administrative workweek, whichever provides the greater benefit to the employee. Entitled to Sunday premium pay when working Sunday shifts. A FWS employee will be paid a night shift differential of 7.5% for the entire shift when a majority of the employee's regularly scheduled non-overtime hours of work occur between the hours of 1500 and 2400. A FWS employee will be paid a night shift differential of 10% of the scheduled rate if a majority of the employee's regularly scheduled non-overtime hours of work occur between the hours of 2300-0800. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid. Non-Foreign Overseas Allowances Non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will not be paid, contingent upon eligibility. This is a mixed job, designed specifically for smaller NAF activities that required flexibility in employee work assignments. May be assigned to other activities based on mission requirements. These are Flexible on call positions and employees may work up to 40 hours per week but is based on peak seasons and mission requirements.
