Green Thumb Environmental Beautification Inc. Maintenance Position in Fort Hunter, New York
NY1506841 Maintenance Position needed for Green Thumb Environmental Beautification in Fort Hunter, NY.
Seasonal, Part-time position.
Pay rate is $15.00 per hour.
Beautification projects include but are not limited to:
Ground maintenance (parks and historic sites), Painting of stand- alone objects/items (benches, signs, containers).
Assist with minor interior/ exterior repairs, and custodial projects.
Cleaning duties include but are not limited to: Cleaning picnic tables and concrete pads, Restrooms (floors, wall, toilets, urinals, mirrors, sinks and drinking fountains.) Check and replenish paper products and soap.
Visually check lights, pumps, furnace, and water heaters, (report and irregularities to supervisor) sort and inventory various materials.
Assist with clerical duties.
Act as assistants for state DOT workers, using self-skills to completing facility repairs.
Report vandalism. (Greenthumbers should NOT take any action themselves.)
Assist DOT with tasks within the written limitations of the Green Thumb program.
