Program Summary

The Fort Irwin National Training Center is a major training area for the United States military and is located in the Mojave Desert in northern San Bernardino County, California. KBR provides maintenance and logistics services to customers at the National Training Center in Fort Irwin, California to support the U.S. Army building brigade combat team readiness with ten annual training rotations.

Job Summary

As a Logistics Supervisor – Supply Support Activity (SSA), you will assist with establishing and implementing policies, procedures, and priorities for warehouse operations.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, and lead day-to-day activities of one or more departmental or functional activities and be responsible for implementing training requirements and monitoring employee performance.

  • Establish production standards, monitor compliance, and recommend operational improvements.

  • Assist the manager in accomplishing the short and long-term goals for the department/function.

  • Ensure employee compliance with safety policies and procedures.

  • Ensure compliance with applicable government regulations.

  • Provide oversight for the performance and production output of the entire Class IX operation.

  • Potentially be required to work uncommon hours of duty, extended hours, nights, weekends and holidays.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications (Required Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications)

  • Must be able to pass a U.S. Government background investigation and obtain a Secret Security clearance and maintain it for the duration of your employment on this contract. Due to this, you must be a U.S. Citizen to be eligible for this position.

  • Requires a Bachelor’s Degree and at least 5 years of related experience. A High School Diploma or equivalent and a total of 12 years of related experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

  • Must have knowledge and background in supply/warehouse operations.

  • Strong customer service skills are required.

  • Must have excellent English communication skills (written and oral).

  • Requires in-depth knowledge of the MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Must be able to work under stressful circumstances and meet shorts suspense dates.

  • Must be physically capable of performing the work in condition of extreme temperatures, low humidity, rain and blowing sand and dust.

Pay

  • Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40

  • Basic Compensation: $83,100 – 124,600

The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
