Responsibilities:
Program, set up, and operate CNC machines (lathes, mills, grinders).
Utilize MasterCam software to create and optimize CNC programs.
Analyze job orders, blueprints, and design data to determine machining specifications.
Conduct regular machinery inspections to ensure performance and safety.
Collaborate with the manufacturing team to troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
Assist in designing and writing machine programs, ensuring accuracy.
Inspect and deburr parts using measuring instruments to meet blueprint specifications.
Maintain quality and safety standards, recordkeeping, and tool maintenance.
Operate conventional mills, lathes, and other equipment as required.
Perform additional tasks assigned by management, following safety procedures.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED, Trade school preferred with CAD proficiency.
Minimum 5 years' Machinist experience, including 2 years as a Programmer.
Tight tolerance experience (+/- .0001) preferred.
Proficient in production processes like cutting, molding, forming, or assembly.
Skilled in using measuring instruments such as calipers and gauges.
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
Proficient in reading and interpreting complex blueprints, G and M code.
Cross-training and multitasking abilities.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective teamwork.
