Insight Global Sr. Firmware Engineer in Fort Lauderdale, Florida
Job Description
Insight Global is currently hiring a Sr. Firmware Engineer for our client that specializes in dynamic and innovative smart city and telecommunications products and services. The Sr. Firmware Engineer will be responsible for architecture, design, and development of next generation of embedded lighting and network management technologies. On a daily basis you will work with programming languages like C, Microcontrollers, Embedded Operating Systems, low level drivers, and more. This role will be a mix of maintenance and debugging of current products, as well as design and development of new products and features. This position will sit fully onsite, 5 days a week, in Fort Lauderdale, FL.
Conversion Salary: $120k-$135k

Skills and Requirements
-3-5+ years of Embedded/Firmware Engineering experience
-Strong Programming experience with C
-Experience with Embedded Operating Systems (FreeRTOS, QNX, VxWorks, Mbed OS, NuttX, LynxOS, Zephyr, etc.)
-Experience with microcontrollers (ESP32, STM32)
-Experience with low level drivers (GPIO, UART, SPI, 12C, ADC, PWM)
-Knowledge of ARM -Python or MicroPython
-Electrical Background
-oscilloscopes, frequency analyzers, soldering
-Linux
-Camera Drivers
-Higher Order Processors - (nvidia/jetson) null
