job summary:
R&D Systems Engineer for a leading medical device developer based near Ft. Lauderdale, FL. This role is responsible to lead, direct, and organize Systems Engineering activities. To be considered - Bachelor's degree with at least three (3) years of R&D systems engineering experience within the medical device or related industry.

Must have at least three (3) years of R&D systems engineering experience

responsibilities:
Drive collaborative design and development of medical devices
Lead, direct, and organize Systems Engineering activities in converting business and customer needs into solutions
Take concepts from ideas to products, through defining architectures, requirements, features, interfaces, and user workflows
Develop and document interface designs and protocols
Define, plan, and conduct formal technical design and test reviews
Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, evaluates alternatives including cost and risk, supportability and analyses for total systems.
Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance, and disposal.
