Job Overview:
Work Schedule: 12 Hour Night Shift, 6:00p - 6:00a, 2-2-3 Schedule
As an Operations Tech level 1 you will perform basic operations on packaging equipment including loading correct packaging materials into the machinery, machine changeover, set up, designated machine inspection and monitoring tasks, sanitation, and assigned Preventative Maintenance Tasks
Job Responsibilities:
Operates all assigned pieces of production line equipment safely and efficiently to meet or exceed established production goals in a cost-effective manner.
Executes machine change over.
Engages and actively participates in continuous improvement activities and initiatives.
Keeps work area clean, organized and Food Safety compliant. Responsible for general housekeeping duties and maintaining a sanitary work area.
Executes routine production reporting and quality checks.
Performs consistent all in-process and final production quality control and verification checks.
Demonstrates situational awareness and a sense of urgency on the production floor to include Safety, Quality and Productivity.
Communicates effectively with team members, leadership and other departments.
Follows and supports improvements to work policies and procedures.
Participates in the creation, improvement and sustainment of key operational policies and procedures to include (but not limited to) standard work, job aids, check lists, and other operational support documents.
Interacts with HMI control technology.
Under general supervision, supports the cellar operation by completing tank sanitation, sampling, and blending.
Operates a designated machine center.
What You Will Need:
High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate, plus one 1 year of beverage production or manufacturing experience.
Required to be physically capable of executing any job tasks within the facility.
Must be able to repetitively lift and uncase glass cases onto a conveyer belt.
Required to work overtime as needed.
Required to work assigned shift.
Required to wear a respirator when necessary.
Skilled in reading, comprehending, interpreting and executing simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
Required to work at heights and in confined spaces.
Required to comply with company GMP policies.
Skilled in writing simple correspondence.
Skilled in adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing using whole numbers.
Basic knowledge and data entry into production/quality systems.
Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
Required to be 18 years or older. This may be in addition to other age requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.

Compensation:
Hiring Salary Range Posted: Set rate listed as $19.50 - $19.50 / Per Hour + Shift Differential as Applicable
Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
