U.S. Army Cyber Command CYBER OPERATIONS PLANS ANALYST in Fort Meade, Maryland

Summary About the Position: This position is a DOD Cyber Excepted Service (CES) personnel system position in the Excepted Service under 10 USC 1599f. Employees occupying CES positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the Battle Watch Branch (CNMF J333), Current Operations Division (J33), Operations Division (CNMF J3), Cyber National Mission Forces (CNMF) USCYBERCOM, Ft. Meade, Maryland. Responsibilities Develops strategy and processes for partner planning, operations, and capability development. Serves as a liaison with external partners. Validates the availability of resources to meet mission objectives. Synchronizes cyber inter-agency/international engagement activities and associated resource requirements, as appropriate. Develops and guides programs to maintain and innovate cyber capabilities. Attends meetings, conferences, briefings, and seminars related to program planning, advanced technologies, and support system concepts. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe one-year specialized experience that demonstrates the possession of knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. To qualify based on your experience, your resume must clearly describe the following quality experience: Evaluating the impacts of new cyber technologies and techniques on current systems and policies; Analyzing the feasibility of making use of advanced analytical methods and tools and assesses the potential effects of proposed cyber policies for an organization; AND Present briefings to organization managers/decision makers on the impact of cyber issues with current policies. Education EDUCATION: Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted. Additional Information If you are a current federal career/career-conditional employee, you will be placed on an excepted appointment. Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration. You will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship. Direct Deposit of Pay is required. Must be able to obtain and maintain a TOP SECRET / SCI security clearance. This position has been designated as a Testing Designated Position (TDP).
