SLS Industrial Services CNC Plasma Machine Operator in Fort Morgan, Colorado
Fast paced company providing services to food processing companies.
Job Duties include: Drafting and cutting drawings using BOSS CNC Plasma table Keep updated steel inventory Unload deliveries Keep shop clean and tidy Program and set up machines Operating and monitor the cutting process Inspect finished products for quality assurance Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines Collaborate with design and engineering teams to optimize machining processes
Requirements: Experience CNC machinist or similar role Proficient in reading technical drawings, blueprints and specifications Extensive knowledge of CNC programming languages and CAM software Familiar with various CNC machines (mills, lathes turning centers etc.) and their operations Ability to operate precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) to verify part dimensions Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Excellent manual dexterity and physical stamina Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Knowledge of safety protocols and ability to adhere to them at all times.
