Aerotek Crane Operator in Fort Morgan, Colorado

Job Title: Traveling Crane Operator

MUST LIVE IN COLORADO

  • Will only receive per diem when projects are 50 miles or more from Commerce City, CO.

Details:

  • Pay: $35-50/HR (depends on experience)

  • Project: "Pathways" Installing 600 mile electrical lines all over Colorado.

  • Location: Near Fort Morgan, CO - Will continue to moving around Colorado.

  • Per Diem: $155 per day worked

  • Lodging and Transportation: You are responsible for securing lodging and getting to and from site.

Family-owned caissons and foundations company that values loyalty, hosting events like Christmas parties and providing toys for employees' children. A core group of employees has been with the company for over 20 years, reflecting the company's commitment to a family culture. Will be traveling across eastern Colorado, front range and surrounding states assisting with caisson construction.

Requirements:

  • Must have active NCCCO Certification

  • Must be able to get out of the crane and assist with physical labor duties (concrete, dirt work, general housekeeping)

  • Valid driver's license (Motor Vehicle Record check required)

  • Reliable car that is able to travel long distances.

  • Experience with Rough Terrain and Hydro Crawler.

  • Flexible to work OT and Weekends.

  • Flexible to be away from home weeks and months at a time.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Operate Cranes : Safely and efficiently operate rough terrain cranes to lift, move, and position heavy materials and equipment.

  • Safety Inspections : Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of cranes to ensure they are in proper working condition and comply with safety regulations.

  • Coordination : Communicate with team members to coordinate lifts and ensure smooth operations on the construction site.

  • Documentation : Maintain accurate records of crane operations and maintenance logs.

  • Assisting with physical labor duties

Work Environment

  • 100% outdoor work

  • Exposure to extreme heat, cold, and muddy conditions

  • Significant travel across Colorado and surrounding states

  • Average work schedule of 50-65 hours per week, with a minimum of 40 hours during the winter
