Summary About the Position: As an Administrative Support Assistant (OA) with U.S. ARMY FUTURES & CONCEPTS CENTER MEDICAL CDID, DUTY STATION: FORT SAM HOUSTON, TX you will be performing a wide variety of administrative management duties. This position is covered by a Laboratory Personnel Demonstration Project. This position covered by this vacancy announcement is a part of STRL Demo Pay Band II. Responsibilities Perform finance, office management, supply, administration management in support of unit missions. Manage and coordination of conferences and meetings in support of MED CDID mission events. Prepare recurring and one-of-a-kind administrative reports as required by the Chief Administration Division. Manage the Records Management Information System to ensure strict compliance with AR 25-400-2, Army Records Management Program. Gather and organize data extracted from IPERMS, E-Profile, and Evaluation Report System (ERS). Query Integrated Personnel and Pay System - Army (IPPS-A) data in support of assigned military personnel. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes; (1) providing clerical and/or administrative support in an office setting, (2) preparing and/or generating reports for higher-level review, (3) reviewing and/or tracking data in order to prepare correspondence or generate reports. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (DK 01/GS-04). Proficiency Required: This position requires a qualified typist. A qualified typist can type 40 words per minute based on a 5 minute sample with three or fewer errors. Education Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
