Work Hours: Monday to Friday (Onsite)

Contract Duration: 12 months.

Kelly Services is actively seeking a Contract Administrator for a dynamic role at Dow Fort Saskatchewan located in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta T8L 2P4.

Position Overview:

The Contract Administrator serves as a key maintenance liaison, strategizing maintenance service contractor approaches, handling service contracts, and communicating with representatives of service contractor firms regarding one of the service contractor companies. This role demands a blend of maintenance and turnaround work process insights, attainable through relevant training and hands-on experience. Additionally, the Contract Administrator supports the contract administration team, offering advice and insights to maintenance, turnaround, and technical personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee contractor activities in adherence to contract terms and conditions.

  • Cultivate an environment of continuous improvement.

  • Monitor and manage monthly service costs, including purchase order issuance, invoice payments, and resolution of payment disputes.

  • Assist with contract duration management, billing, and invoicing to ensure alignment with contract stipulations.

  • Address any labor invoice/payment discrepancies and take appropriate follow-up actions.

  • Conduct periodic field audits, Management System Reviews, EH&S evaluations, and observations. Review audit outcomes for contractors, collaborating with their management on action plans for improvement opportunities.

  • Participate in contractor safety briefings, advocating safety standards and insights as needed.

  • Liaise with service contractors to address Quality Service and Product Performance (QSPP) issues effectively.

  • Aid Purchasing Sourcing Specialists in devising and evaluating contracting strategies, contract conditions, and performance management for optimal service delivery.

  • Comprehend maintenance, turnaround, and project workflows to manage contractor performance effectively, engaging with team members and stakeholders.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Legal eligibility to work in Canada without the need for company sponsorship.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SAP, and the capacity to learn new software swiftly.

  • At least a High School diploma or its equivalent is required.

  • Strong skills in multitasking, organization, problem-solving, and time management.
