About You and this Role
Dowis seeking aLight Hydrocarbons (LHC) Outside Work Activity Coordinator (WAC)to join our team inFort Saskatchewan (Alberta, Canada).
In this role, you will work closely with the Inside WAC to ensure that the scheduled maintenance tasks are completed safely and efficiently on a daily basis. You will support the do-work maintenance personnel (crafts people) by proactively ensuring scheduled maintenance jobs have the required materials and resources in place, and resolving any issues that may arise. In addition, you will facilitate the completion of break-in work and will act as the Dow Job Rep for 3rd party resources completing maintenance work in the facility.
Responsibilities
Reviews job packages in advance and ensures materials and resources are available.
Assists in allocation of resources for resource leveraging.
Reports the progress of the daily work to enable adjustments to the work schedule when needed. Reviews work status with service providers and originators and adjusts schedule as required.
Reassigns resources scheduled to perform work to the next job, in the event the equipment is not prepared for maintenance on originally assigned job.
Confirms that all scheduled job sequences, work and paperwork for the job have all been completed.
Supports RTO activities.
Coaches crafts persons when completed procedures/checklists/equipment repair forms are not filled out correctly.
Conducts field audits to assure procedures are being used according to the local Maintenance Procedure Use Policy.
Provide back-up coverage to the Inside WAC.
Provide work coordination support during planned outages and recoils.
Qualifications
A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent PLUS a Journeyperson Certificate or Red Seal Designation.
A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience (i.e. industrial maintenance, etc.)
Ability to safely work in a plant environment, meet physical demands, work at elevated heights, and comfortably use PPE and safety equipment. Must be familiar with or open to training on proper equipment usage.
A minimum requirement for this Canada based position is the ability to work legally in Canada. No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position.
Preferred Skills
Broad technical skills (high level knowledge of mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, etc.).
Strong influential leadership to help support and direct the crafts people in the field.
Task Coordination to ensure that work is completed on schedule.
