Army Installation Management Command Operations Assistant NF-02 in Fort Stewart, Georgia

Summary Location of positions: DoDEA School Cafeterias, Fort Stewart, GA. Must be able to work between the hours of 6AM - 2:30PM. Employees generally works the same days as the student calendar with additional days scheduled for program meetings and training. Flexible positions will normally be scheduled between 0-40 hours per week dependent upon the needs of the organization. There are no guaranteed hours for flexible positions. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT HAS BEEN EXTENDED TILL 12 JULY 2022. Responsibilities Performs ?Hands-on? operations in a cafeteria. This includes but is not limited to assistant with serving, hosting, cooking and other duties. Assists with operations to ensure smooth running of the cafeteria operation. Adherence to established schedules of activities and priorities; provides information concerning services, prices, standards of behavior, and special events. Follows established procedures. Helps control the flow and monitors meal times. Ensures consistency in food and service to increase sales. Maintains student order and harmony. As necessary, seeks assistance from cafeteria managers, to control unacceptable behavior. Assumes responsibility for cash during shift including cash collected from patrons. Conducts inventory as directed. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications At least one year of experience effectively working in a fast paced, stressful environment at a large Name Brand Casual Dining restaurant establishment. Must possess good interpersonal, communication and customer service skills. Must have serving, hosting, and cooking experience.
