TEKsystems Mid Level Software Engineer / C++ in Fort Walton Beach, Florida
Description:
TEKsystems is seeking a Mid-Level Scene Generation Engineer to support KHILS. This team is creating the simulation for topical environments and infrared sensors.
Our team needs talented individuals to create simulations for testing advanced optical sensors. These simulations must present scenes to optical sensors that duplicate the real-world in real-time.
The successful applicant will:
Have some experience and some knowledge of a wide variety of topics, including science, optics, and computers.
Provide the successful applicant with the chance to work on cutting edge technology and to make a real difference in the security of the world, today and tomorrow.
Provide onsite support at Eglin AFB.
Successful candidate should have the following:
Bachelors degree and five (5) years or more experience; Masters degree and three (3) years or more experience; PhD and 0 years related experience.
Degree in engineering, computer science or physics
Programming skills in C++, Matlab, and/or Python
Effective communication skills and ability to work with a team
Ability to multi-task and produce in a timely manner
Desired experience/skills:
Scene generation codes such as FLITES, IRMA and OSC
Modeling and terrain tools such as Blender and TerraTools
EO/IR phenomenology
High performance computing
Game engine programming
Image processing
