Insight Global Traveling Electrical Assembler in Fort Walton Beach, Florida

Job Description

A client of Insight Globals is looking for a Traveling Electronic Assembler to join their team out of Fort Walton Beach, FL. This individual performs basic and routine electronic and mechanical assembly operations on components, printed circuit boards, and subassemblies in accordance with established standards using visual aids and verbal and/or written instructions.

  1. Position and align parts in the specified relationship to each other and use hand or power tools to secure parts.

  2. Mount assembled components on panels or circuit boards.

  3. Route wiring and cabling through assembly to terminals according to color codes and solder or wrap wire around terminals to provide electrical connection.

  4. Perform intermediate assembly tasks such as potting, encapsulating, cleaning, coating, epoxy bonding, wiring, stamping, and color coding parts and assemblies.

  5. Read and interpret schematic drawings, diagrams, specifications, work orders, or reports to determine materials requirements or assembly instructions.

Skills and Requirements

High School diploma

 Electrical wiring/assembly experience

 Ability to travel PCB, circuit board, panel electrical wiring experience

 Route wiring and cabling through assembly to terminals according to color codes and solders or wraps wire around terminals to provide electrical connection

 Experience performing intermediate assembly tasks such as potting, encapsulating, cleaning, coating, epoxy bonding, wiring, stamping, and color coding parts and assemblies

 Read and interpret schematic drawings, diagrams, specifications, work orders, or reports to determine materials requirements or assembly instructions null
