Description
We are offering a contract for a permanent position as an Accounting Specialist in FORT WAYNE, Indiana, 46804-4164, United States. As an Accounting Specialist, you will be executing various accounting functions, maintaining financial records, and handling customer inquiries. Your role will also involve monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate action.
Responsibilities:
• Manage the process of customer credit applications with accuracy and efficiency
• Uphold precise records for customer credit
• Execute data entry tasks and maintain QuickBooks records
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable operations
• Perform reconciliation tasks to ensure accuracy of financial data
• Manage payroll functions in compliance with financial policies and procedures
• Conduct billing functions and follow up with customers when necessary
• Monitor customer accounts and take necessary action based on account status
Requirements
• Demonstrable capability in Accounting Functions is necessary
• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) procedures is required
• Experience in managing Accounts Receivable (AR) is a must
• Ability to handle Billing Functions effectively is crucial
• Proficiency in QuickBooks is highly desirable
