Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Technician
Job Description
As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that production machinery is maintained in a safe operating condition to meet uptime requirements and assure uninterrupted production. You will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing machinery, conveyors, and robotics while adhering to safety guidelines and procedures.
Responsibilities
Ensure production machinery is maintained in a safe operating condition to meet uptime requirements for uninterrupted production
Troubleshoot and repair machinery, conveyors, and robotics
Adhere to, implement, and follow safety guidelines and procedures at all times
Perform other duties as directed by supervisor
Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service
Work all shifts up to 12 hours and occasional overtime
Essential Skills
3+ Years of Industrial Maintenance Experience
Electrical troubleshooting experience
Ability to own and use tooling
Ability to interpret blueprints and schematics
Experience with battery systems
Experience with PLC and robotics
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
Welding skills
Experience with 3-phase electrical systems
Ability to read electrical schematics
Experience with preventive maintenance
Experience with industrial maintenance
PLC programming skills

Work Environment
You will be working in a battery manufacturing factory, which can be hot at times. This is a manufacturing setting with exposure to industrial equipment and battery acid. You must be comfortable with periodic blood tests for lead levels. Training will occur on the first shift for approximately 90 days, after which you will move to night shifts (5:45pm - 6:15am, 2-2-3 schedule).

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $32.80 - $33.70
