Robert Half Accounts Payable Specialist in Fort Worth, Texas
Description
We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist at our Fort Worth, Texas location. This role is within the Oil & Gas - Field Services industry, where you will be responsible for supporting the company's accounts payable process, maintaining effective vendor relationships, and ensuring the timely and accurate processing of invoices.
Responsibilities
• Manage the entire process of accounts payable within the company.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, resolving any discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Review and approve vendor invoices before payment, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Accurately input invoices into the accounting system, ensuring they are correctly coded and categorized.
• Prepare and process various forms of payments, such as checks and automated clearing house transfers, in accordance with company policies.
• Regularly reconcile accounts payable to ensure the accuracy and completeness of records.
• Collaborate with the procurement and finance teams to improve processes and resolve issues.
• Generate accounts payable reports for management review, identifying trends and anomalies.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, maintaining proper documentation for audit purposes.
• Use various accounting software systems and tools, such as ADP - Financial Services and ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning, to efficiently manage accounting functions.
Requirements
• Proficiency in accounting software systems is crucial to this role
• Experience with ADP - Financial Services is required
• Familiarity with Netsuite ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is a must
• Solid understanding of general accounting functions is important
• Hands-on experience with Accounts Payable (AP) is key
• Knowledge of Account Coding is essential
• Experience with Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions is necessary
