Robert Half Health and Welfare Benefits Analyst in Fort Worth, Texas

Description We are looking for a Benefits Analyst to join our team in the Wholesale Distribution industry, located in FORT WORTH, Texas. This role will be focused on managing and coordinating employee benefits, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance our benefits programs.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct orientation for new hires focusing on employee benefits

• Manage the process of dependent verification

• Collaborate with consultants for form 5500 filing

• Handle tasks related to interface file fixes and enhancements

• Coordinate system setup, configuration, and testing for Open Enrollment

• Conduct audits post Open Enrollment

• Lead the annual 1094-C and 1095-C requirement coordination

• Organize HIPAA training sessions

• Review and process all departmental invoices

• Stay updated on advancements in analytics methodologies and tools

• Develop and implement process for maintaining premium collections

• Coordinate audits of medical claims

• Efficiently handle life events and life insurance claims

• Be the primary contact for employees regarding benefit inquiries

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline employee benefit programs

• Communicate changes in benefit policies effectively

• Perform monthly tasks related to tobacco cessation

• Send monthly reminder emails regarding new hire benefit enrollments

• Complete annual CMS disclosure

• Perform other tasks as assigned related to benefits administration. Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Benefits Analyst role or similar position in the Wholesale Distribution industry.

• Detailed understanding of benefit functions including health, retirement, and other employee benefits.

• Experience in claim administration, including processing, reviewing, and monitoring claims.

• Knowledge of dental benefits, including administration and claim management.

• Familiarity with Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) and its application in benefit management.

• Experience in preparing and submitting Form 1095-C and Form 5500 as part of regulatory compliance.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

• Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
