Farmer Brothers Key Account Executive in Fort Worth, Texas
A Key Account Executive plays a crucial role in acquiring national accounts and large regional accounts across the United States. In addition, the Key Account Executive will effectively manage the new customer relationships to ensure a seamless implementation process. This position is a results-oriented sales professional with a successful record as an individual contributor. Our Key Account Executives develop strong customer pipelines and successfully sell to decision-makers across multiple functional departments and the C-Suite. They are referred to as trusted advisors and product experts, a key element to a team of elite Key Account Executives who are committed to identifying new business opportunities and driving revenue and profits for the company. Securing 3-5 year agreements with new customers and achieving the targeted ROI’s are paramount to the KAE’s successful results.
Essential Functions and Job Duties:
Sales Strategy: Create and execute effective sales strategies tailored to your assigned sales channel, aligning with overall business objectives.
Relationship Management: Developing and maintaining strong relationships with key decision-makers in assigned sales channel to ensure client satisfaction and loyalty by customizing & delivering product demonstrations with a keen eye focus on your customer’s unique needs. Gathers information from clients and partners as needed. Crafts targeted strategies designed to meet specific client needs. Makes recommendations based on internal and external factors. Designs and implements action plans. Keeps in contact with the client at all stages. Work with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success to create the best customer experience.
Contract Negotiation: Negotiating contracts and agreements with national clients to secure long-term business partnerships. Developing and delivering sales bids, proposals, and presentations and conducting product demonstrations
Market Research: Identifying and targeting potential new national accounts through market research and strategic planning. Provide clear visibility on revenue performance by actively managing a pipeline of opportunities and monthly forecasts.
Sales Performance Analysis: Monitoring and analyzing sales data to identify trends, growth opportunities, and areas for improvement within national accounts. Using the analysis to manage the full sales cycle from land to expand, ensuring that our customers can achieve their goals.
Logistics Coordination: Coordinating with logistics and supply chain teams to ensure timely delivery of products or services to national accounts. Become an expert of your geographical territory through research and onsite visits to meet with customers/prospects.
Expert Consultation: Providing expert advice to national accounts on product selection, usage, and benefits to enhance customer experience.
Brand Representation: Representing the company at trade shows, conferences, and networking events to promote brand visibility and forge new business relationships. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of our product and processes
Qualifications
Education & Experience:
Bachelors Degree Minimum Requirement
Years of Experience: Minimum 8 Years
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Channel Expertise: In-depth understanding of the restaurant industry, including trends, challenges, and key players.
Sales Acumen: Proven track record of achieving sales targets of $2.5M + and driving revenue growth through strategic account acquisition.
Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the coffee and/or food and beverage industry, including trends, challenges, and key players.
Technology Proficiency: Proficient in using CRM systems, sales analytics tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively with senior-level stakeholders.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and trends.
