Job Title: Line Cook
Job Description
A line cook, also known as a chef de partie or station chef, is responsible for managing a specific area of food preparation within a restaurant. Line cooks focus on particular types of food or preparation methods, such as butchering, fish, vegetables, sautéing, roasting, or grilling.
Responsibilities
Managing a specific area of food preparation.
Handling food preparation tasks such as cutting meat, mixing sauces, chopping vegetables, and preparing ingredients.
Cleaning and setting up the prep station before the shift.
Checking food prep and storage areas to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Assisting executive and sous chefs with daily tasks.
Essential Skills
Experience in food preparation and cooking.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations in food service.
Ability to perform tasks such as cutting meat, mixing sauces, and chopping vegetables.
Proficiency in cleaning and maintaining prep stations.
Ability to assist other chefs efficiently.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in foodservice and familiarity with various cooking methods.

The pay range for this position is $16.25 - $16.25
