Cyber Security

Bell has an immediate opening for a Manager of IT Cyber Security and Risk Management. In this role, you will be directly responsible for defining and building the next generation of Cyber Security and Risk Management capabilities. You will be leading a team of IT cyber security and risk management personnel with the task of securing Bell into the future. You should be comfortable executing in a fast-paced environment, contributing to innovative solutions, and demonstrating leadership and technical competence. You will collaborate regularly with Bell’s business leaders to understand how you can advance Bell’s security posture. This is an onsite role that offices in both Bell’s Commercial Business Center and Bells Headquarters campus.

What You’ll Be Doing as the Manager of IT Cyber Security and Risk Management

  • Grow the cyber security and risk management capabilities and skillsets within the team.

  • Increase the team’s capability to design and implement cyber security/network architecture solutions.

  • Expand our capabilities in Security Consulting, Process Automation, Security Assessments, and create a consistent view into Bell’s Governance and Compliance.

  • Executes the analysis, design, configuration, development, and integration of Cyber Security projects.

  • Collaborates with the Business Partners, Business Analysts, and the business functions (customers).

  • Mentor and coach team members with various experience levels, to help them become effective cyber security and risk management drivers for Bell.

  • Identify growth opportunities for team members in support of the team’s capability needs.

  • Close working relationship with Industry Peers and Governing Bodies, Domestic and Global Supply chain partners scoped under the CMMC initiative and Bell customers as appropriate.

Qualifications

Skills You Bring to This Role

  • Strong knowledge of DFARS NIST 800-171 security standards OR other highly regulated industries such as finance security standards.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead a team during an incident response.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and demonstrate technical leadership.

  • Excellent skills in communications, leadership, analysis, and setting priorities.

  • Ability to create technology roadmaps outlining strategy one to three years in advance.

  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic, rapidly changing business and technical environment.

  • Previous experience in managing a team, developing and coaching others in technical skills.

What You Need to be Successful

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline with an IT focus.

  • 7 years in Enterprise Cyber Security and IT experience in companies with a complex enterprise technical environment which includes a combination of custom, off-the-shelf, and hybrid applications using a variety of platforms and technologies.

  • Ability to gain US Government Security Clearance required.

  • Hands-on experience working with auditing bodies such as Ernst & Young, Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA), and internal audit preferred.

  • CISSP certification OR other similar DoD-required Cyber Security certifications OR other relevant Cybersecurity certifications preferred.
