What You Will Be Doing
As the SRR Reduction Initiative Lead for the F-35 program, you will take a pivotal role in improving manufacturing quality and efficiency by focusing on Structures, Seam, and Composite defects. Your key responsibilities will include:
•Analyzing and identifying systemic defect trends related to aircraft structures, seams, and composites.
•Developing business cases to secure funding for corrective actions and improvement initiatives.
•Leading cross-functional teams to implement corrective action plans, ensuring alignment with cost, schedule, and quality goals.
•Project-managing improvement efforts, including tracking performance metrics and reporting progress to stakeholders.
•Providing technical expertise in aircraft structures to identify root causes and drive effective solutions.
•Collaborating with production teams and leadership to integrate defect reduction strategies into broader program objectives.

You are a detail-oriented manufacturing engineer with a deep understanding of aircraft structures and a passion for problem-solving. You bring:
•Strong technical knowledge of aerospace manufacturing processes and defect reduction methodologies.
•Excellent analytical skills to identify systemic trends and develop data-driven solutions.
•Leadership capabilities to drive cross-functional collaboration and deliver project results.

Basic Qualifications:
•Aircraft structure repair experience
•High Proficiency using PDM/SFM/ICA
Desired Skills:
•F35 QAR repair experience
•Facilitation proficiency briefing Senior Mgmt/Customers
•Corrective Action/ICA/RCCA training/experience
•Green/Black Belt certified
•Data analysis experience

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
