Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking a Summer 2025 Numerical Control Programmer (Tooling/NC) Intern. In this role, you will be embedded in detailed manufacturing plans, concepts, processes, and procedures.. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of participating and contributing to a fast-paced environment. Be self-motivated, take initiative, and have strong work ethic and have a learning and continuous improvement attitude.
Must be a US Citizen. This position is at a facility that requires special access.
Basic Qualifications:
• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in a technology-related degree plan, e.g., Manufacturing Engineering, Manufacturing Systems Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering Technology, Manufacturing & Mechanical Engineering Technology, Product Design and Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering Technology, or Aeronautics Engineering Technology
• Must be a US Citizen. This position is at a facility that requires special access.
Desired Skills:
• Design, build club/project experience (i.e., SAE Formula and Baja)
• Previous manufacturing/operations experience
• Desire to obtain an Operations role indicated by expressing interest in ‘hands-on’ applications of engineering and manufacturing principles
• Experience with CAD system
• Machining/machine shop experience

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
