Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Network Systems Engineer to join our dynamic IT team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our organization's network infrastructure. As a Senior Network Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the stability, security, and efficiency of our network systems while providing leadership and guidance to junior team members.
Key Responsibilities:
Network Design and Implementation:
Design, plan, and implement robust and scalable network architectures to meet current and future organizational needs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate network solutions seamlessly with existing systems.
Network Security:
Develop and implement security measures to safeguard the organization's network infrastructure from potential threats and vulnerabilities.
Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging technologies to enhance network security protocols.
Performance Optimization:
Monitor network performance and proactively identify and address bottlenecks or issues to ensure optimal performance and availability.
Conduct regular assessments to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization of network systems.
Troubleshooting and Support:
Provide advanced technical support for complex network issues, including incident resolution and problem management.
Collaborate with other IT teams to troubleshoot and resolve escalated network-related incidents.
Team Leadership:
Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior network engineers.
Lead projects, ensuring timely and successful completion within scope and budget.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
years of proven experience in network systems engineering roles.
In-depth knowledge of networking protocols, technologies, and security principles.
Extensive experience with router, switch, and firewall configurations.
Strong understanding of virtualization technologies and cloud networking (e.g., AWS, Azure).
Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCIE, JNCIP, etc.) are highly desirable.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
