Description We are looking for a Sr Infrastructure Engineer to join our team in Hanover, Maryland. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and improving our infrastructure, implementing automation strategies, and ensuring the smooth operation of our systems. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, design, and execute solutions within the product team to meet specific goals.

• Maintain and improve our infrastructure using Terraform Azure PaaS and/or Kubernetes.

• Improve the deployment process and automate repeatable actions to reduce workload.

• Independently debug production issues across services and levels of the stack.

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action to enhance system performance.

• Document findings for future reference and to streamline operations.

• Develop strategic technology roadmaps to guide our infrastructure development.

• Actively look for opportunities to improve the availability and performance of the system by applying the learnings from monitoring and observation.

• Complete Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigations to identify and address issues.

• Respond to TechOps incidents and provide support for customer incidents.

• Utilize skills in communication, reporting, operations, planning, compliance, database management, workstation support, troubleshooting, automation, cloud technologies, integration, monitoring tools, storage management, configuration management, and migration to effectively execute job responsibilities. Requirements • Proficiency in JavaScript, MySQL, Oracle, and GitHub is essential.

• Experience with Cloud Technologies and Automation is required.

• Familiarity with Workstation Support, Troubleshoot, and Monitoring Tools is crucial.

• Advanced knowledge in Planning, Compliance, Database and Operations.

• Ability to Execute and handle Storage Management tasks.

• Proficiency in Configuration Management and experience with Migration processes.

• Adept at using Metric Reporting for analyzing and improving system performance.

• Ability to handle and optimize Queries and Specifications.

• Excellent Communication skills for effective interaction with team members and stakeholders.

• Experience in developing and integrating Practices for infrastructure maintenance and improvement.

• Experience with Websites, including development, deployment, and maintenance.

• Knowledge of Integration processes and strategies in Infrastructure Engineering. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
