Lockheed Martin System Integration and Test Engineer, Sr Stf. - level 5 in Fort Worth, Texas

You will be the Operations Lead Engineer, Man In The Loop, for the Operations Engineering team. Our team is responsible for supporting and focusing on activities within the FTW Man In The Loop Labs, supporting test schedules daily. Overall lab readiness for customer Venues, overall successful execution of the Labs day-to-day operations, Lab maintenance, configuration management, Lab safety and security, new programs bids and estimates, projection and display systems, simulation cockpit HW and SW, hands-on integration of new labs and updates to existing labs, troubleshooting and repairing failed lab equipment, planning and coordinating lab upgrade activities, and testing to ensure the Labs function as expected.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Operations Lead Engineer, you will be providing operational, technical support, and leadership for the LM Aero Fort Worth Man In The Loop Labs (MITL) Ops Team across multiple Lines Of Business. You will be responsible for providing task direction to the Ops Engineering team while supporting lab requirements, Bid estimates, integration, and Tests to ensure full lab operations capabilities.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Lead the Simulation Ops Team and troubleshoot daily Technical Lab anomalies.

• Provide customer service-focused thinking, excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.

• Work across and coordinate with multi-functional disciplines such as systems engineering, software engineering, hardware engineering, IT, project leadership, CAMs, and outside disciplines such as users, customer pilots, and program leads.

Candidate must be willing to adjust work schedule periodically to support program activities and customer events in a 7-day/week, 1st and 2nd shift environment.

This position is in Fort Worth, TX Discover Fort Worth.

You will need to be a US Citizen, and currently possess and be able to maintain a US DoD SECRET clearance, to support this government contract, as well as successfully pass a drug and background check, in order to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree in a STEM discipline

• Experience leading multi-functional teams, building strong relationships with team members, and influence peers.

• Integration and Test Engineering experience supporting Simulation Labs.

• Must be a US Citizen. Candidates must have the ability to obtain a DoD security clearance, at least at the Secret level.

Desired Skills:

• Experience designing, developing, implementing/testing, and troubleshooting Cockpit Avionics simulation systems, Manned Interface Cockpit Stations, video walls, high-speed data networks, Ethernet Comms, Link-16 systems, fiber optics comms, Audio systems, and high-speed data buses.

• Knowledge of Windows and Linux-based lab development and support systems.

• Leadership and project management experience.

• Experience working in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated results.

• F-35 Tactical Simulation Lab experience.

• Multiple examples of demonstrated technical leadership experience.

• Excellent interpersonal skills, including team building and collaboration.

• Must be able to provide 2nd and/or 3rd shift and weekend support as required.

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Clearance Level: Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
