Job Description
Due to ongoing growth of the team, our Brisbane Building Services Team are looking for an ambitious Electrical Engineer to join their team. This presents a unique opportunity to work on a range of projects across Healthcare, Defence, Industrial, Transport, Infrastructure and 2032 Olympics.
What will a day in this role look like:
Preparation of electrical design documentation of Electrical Building Services including electrical power distribution and reticulation systems, lighting (incl. emergency) design, standby power generation (incl. renewable-type, UPS and Generator) and lightning protection
Work on interesting projects across the full project lifecycle from tender preparation and design delivery through to construction support across an array of sectors
Coordinate with other design disciplines in team environments working in a supportive project environment with opportunities to elevate your electrical skills as a project Design Coordinator
Provide assistance and contribute technically to the development of engineering proposals
Have the opportunity to develop Design/Project Management skills including multidisciplinary design coordination and gain exposure to client management.
Qualifications

What are we looking for from you?
Bachelor of Electrical Engineering Degree with (ideally) 2 + years’ experience for a consultancy or contractor with solid design experience.
Knowledge of Australian electrical engineering design standards, codes and practices including AS/NZS 3000, AS/NZS 1680, AS/NZS 2293 and the BCA.
Proven, relevant experience working on building services projects as an Electrical Engineer.
Proficiency with industry standard software (MS Office, PowerCAD, Bluebeam/Adobe) and preferred experience with AGI 32 and Revit
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders at varying levels of seniority.
Australian Citizenship (preferred, not essential)
