Job Description

As a People Technology Sr. ServiceNow Product Manager, you will have the opportunity to lead operational support, the technology roadmap, and the implementation of HRSD ServiceNow capabilities including EC Pro enhancements, ER Case Management enhancements, and Employee Lifecycle Events . Collaborating across a matrixed global stakeholder group including HR leaders, IT, and other partners, your focus will be to help build key capabilities to support technology innovations and operational efficiency for our HR teams while providing the best employee experience possible. You will leverage your hands-on ServiceNow technology expertise to find solutions that add the most business value.

This role is site based in Foster City, CA. For this specific position offer a hybrid work environment with three core collaboration days on campus and two days remote.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Functional/Technical Expertise – Bring a global perspective and expertise in ServiceNow around best practices, customer needs, design, configurations, and new capabilities .

  • Support of Strategic Objectives – Support and thought partnership in development of technology roadmaps aligned around strategic objectives and business priorities.

  • Requirements Gathering and Analysis – Elicit, document, and analyze business requirements. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand current processes, break down complex business problems and identify opportunities for improvement utilizing ServiceNow.

  • Delivery – Lead or support the implementation of technology solutions, while making connections across systems process, design, configuration, customization, and integrations to ensure business needs are considered and met. Create recommendations that set the standard for excellence and best practice with HR process and technology solutions.

  • Solutions Assessment – Evaluate emerging industry trends, learnings from other customers, and ServiceNow releases to assess current state, in collaboration with IT and HR partners, to develop recommendations for optimization, enhancement or adoption of new or existing technologies.

  • Documentation – Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for ServiceNow, business processes, and configurations including functional specs, user stories, acceptance criteria, quick reference guides, user flow diagrams, and training materials.

  • Quality Assurance – Conduct thorough testing of ServiceNow including the test strategy, test cases, and triaging of user issues.

Required Experience and Skills:

  • Minimum 8 years of business analysis experience or 6 years of relevant experience and MA/MS degree.

  • Minimum 4 years of hands-on ServiceNow configuration experience with HRSD

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Strong understanding of business applications and IT integration capabilities/touchpoints to identify potential upstream and downstream impact and intersection point.

  • Self-motivated team player with solid time management and organization skills; ability to navigate through ambiguity and work independently.

  • Ability to manage multiple and often changing priorities in a fast pace dynamic environment.

  • Proven detail oriented and analytical skills.

  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Smartsheets.

  • Knowledge of Learning processes.

  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.

  • Change management and adoption strategies.

  • Experience working in a complex, global environment is strongly preferred.

The salary range for this position is: $165,580.00 - $214,280.00. Gilead considers a variety of factors when determining base compensation, including experience, qualifications, and geographic location. These considerations mean actual compensation will vary. This position may also be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, discretionary stock-based long-term incentives (eligibility may vary based on role), paid time off, and a benefits package. Benefits include company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, and life insurance plans*.
