Department Description:
Quality Control (QC) is responsible for testing immediate production samples, finished product samples, stability samples, and environmental samples to demonstrate that all products meet the standard requirements for cGMP operations. The QC Sample Management Team supports the QC Chemistry, QC Microbiology, and QC BioSurgery laboratories at the Framingham, MA manufacturing site.

Position Overview:
This position is for Wednesday-Saturday, day shift, 4, 10 hour days.
Main Responsibilities:
Data entry and filing of documentation
Maintenance of laboratory testing files
Preparation and maintenance of logbooks used in QC
Performing sample receipt and sample disposal in QC
Maintenance and organization of Cold Room and Freezer areas
Coordinates distribution of samples to other laboratories
Performance of Sample Pick ups around site, as needed
Ordering of laboratory supplies
Archiving of test records and logbooks
Manages laboratory reserve/retain samples
Assisting Management/Lab personnel with data gathering
Cleaning and Storage of Laboratory Glassware
Effectively demonstrates an understanding of cGMPs:
Following accurate oral and written procedures for maintenance of laboratory systems, documentation and samples
Ensures laboratory data and samples are effectively maintained
Updates laboratory database and tracks the completion of various functions required by QC Laboratory
Works independently under general supervision and direction
Works in compliance with cGMPs and cGDPs
Practices safe work habits and adheres to safety procedures and guidelines
About You
Basic Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED and 2 years' experience working in a pharmaceutical (GDP) environment
Proficient in Outlook, MS word, and Excel and lab based data management systems
Preferred Qualifications:
Associates Degree and 1 year experience in an administrative setting OR Bachelor's Degree
Experience using SmartQC, iLIMS or BioLIMS data management systems.
Special Working Conditions:
Must be able to lift 40lbs
Position is considered on site essential personnel and may be required to work during inclement weather events.
