Robert Half Account Manager in Frankfort, Illinois
Description We are offering a contract for a permanent position as an Account Manager in the Chemicals Manufacturing industry, based in Frankfort, Illinois. In this role, you will be an integral part of our team, providing top-tier customer service and account management.
Responsibilities:
• Serve as a single point of contact for assigned customers, ensuring their needs and expectations are met promptly and efficiently
• Assist in managing workload of the team and provide full desk coverage during the absence of team members
• Ensure timely and accurate order entry with a high level of precision
• Maintain and update customer information in SAP, including address, contact details, terms, shipping requirements and other relevant details
• Respond to inquiries from both internal and external customers within a reasonable time frame
• Work closely with Sales representatives and other team members to ensure seamless service delivery
• Assist in the implementation of new Sales and Marketing programs through coordination with customers, Sales, and Operations
• Take on various projects as assigned by management. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Account Management
• Proven track record of managing large-scale accounts, preferably in the Chemical Manufacturing industry
• Strong understanding of the Chemical Manufacturing industry and its customer base
• Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
• Ability to build rapport with clients and maintain strong relationships
• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple accounts effectively
• Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
• Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and implementing solutions
• Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients and prospective clients
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferable
