Robert Half Accounts Receivable Specialist in Franklin, Indiana
Description
We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team based in Franklin, Indiana. In this role, you will be tasked with managing the collections and application of funds, making collection calls, and resolving any inconsistencies in customer accounts.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct careful management of accounts receivable collections and application of funds.
• Undertake diligent monitoring of customer account details for any irregularities such as non-payments and delayed payments.
• Engage in regular communication with sales representatives regarding the status of customer accounts and any significant issues.
• Review and analyze accounts receivable aging reports on a regular basis.
• Take responsibility for reconciling any discrepancies between customer and company invoicing.
• Handle the processing of refunds when necessary.
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliations and related journal entries.
• Utilize skills in Account Reconciliation, Accounts Receivable (AR), Cash Applications, Cash Collections, Commercial Collections, Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP.
Requirements
• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is necessary
• Ability to use Microsoft Excel efficiently is mandatory
• Demonstrated excellent communication skills
