Robert Half Manager of Benefits in Franklin, Tennessee

Description We are in search of a Manager of Benefits to join our team in Franklin, Tennessee. As a key player in our organization, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing various benefit functions, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and managing various systems related to benefits administration. This role is central to the smooth operation of our team and requires a candidate with a strong background in benefits management and administration.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the administration of employee benefits in all company operations

• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations related to benefits

• Manage the use of ADP - Financial Services, ADP Workforce Now, Ceridian, Dayforce, and Kronos Timekeeping System

• Oversee the administration of claims and Cobra administration

• Manage dental benefits and other specific benefit areas as required

• Proactively identify areas for improvement in benefits administration processes and implement changes

• Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure the smooth operation of benefit functions

• Handle employee inquiries and disputes regarding benefits and work towards their resolution

• Regularly review and update company policies related to benefits management

• Collaborate with the HR team and management in the development and implementation of new benefit programs and initiatives. Requirements • Prior experience in managing benefits functions within an organization.

• Proficiency in using ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now.

• Familiarity with Ceridian and Dayforce platforms.

• Experience with Kronos Timekeeping System is a must.

• Solid understanding and experience in benefits functions.

• Experience in claim administration and Cobra administration.

• Strong knowledge of compliance procedures related to benefits administration.

• Experience in managing dental benefits is required.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to strategize and make effective decisions.

• Strong leadership and team management skills.

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field is preferred.

• Professional certifications in benefits management would be an added advantage.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

• Good understanding of employment laws and regulations.

• Proven track record in negotiating with benefits providers.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Strong organizational and time management skills.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

• High level of integrity and professionalism.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

• Strong customer service orientation.

• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
